At Altair Global Services, LLC and its affiliated entities (“Altair Global”), respect for and protection of our customers’ personal data are top priorities. 

This Consent was developed to comply with Altair Global’s requirements under applicable data protection legislation including, but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and California Consumer Propection Act (“CCPA”). 

Altair Global and/or its affiliates may rely on this consent.

Background

Altair Global is tasked with administration of your employer’s global mobility assistance program.   As we endeavor to provide world-class customer service, we must collect certain personal information about you. A non-exhaustive list of the personal data we require includes: name (i.e., last, first, patronymic); taxpayer’s record card or social benefits registration number; contact information (e.g., phone, email); age/date of birth; work and residence addresses; passport and/or driver’s license; sex; marital status; children (under 13); criminal records (in certain limited circumstances); compensation, benefit and other relevant compensation data. 

We will act as the data controller when we collect personal data directly from you. We will sometimes receive your personal data from your employer and when we do, we will act as your employer’s data processor.

Our processing activities

We will process your personal data in line with our Privacy Statement http://www.altairglobal.com/privacy-statement/ and in order to perform the services governed by your employer’s global assignment management and/or relocation policy.  This includes collecting, storing and using your personal data (“Intended Purpose”).

Third parties

We may disclose your personal data to the following third parties who will rely on this Consent including current personnel, potential personnel (job applicants), former personnel, contractors/consultants/freelancers, temporary agency workers, Directors, public officers, suppliers (contact persons/representatives) , and others necessary or appropriate to the specific services required to assist you and your dependents with settling-in, assimilating and successfully fulfilling the employer’s business aims (“Sub-Processors”).

All Sub-Processors are carefully chosen to ensure they have adequate security measures in place for the safeguarding of your personal data and our contracts with them require them to comply with their obligations under the GDPR, CCPA or others applicable dara protection legislation.

Depending on the services required by your employer, some of the abovementioned Sub-Processors may be based in territories outside of the US and EU. On occasions, these territories may not be recognized by the European Commission as having adequate protections in place. We will only transfer data to such territories if we are satisfied that your personal data is adequately protected.

WE HAVE NOT AND WILL NOT SELL ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Security measures

Altair Global maintains extensive physical, technical and administrative data protection controls to prevent accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access and has ensured that appropriate measures are in place with its Sub-Processors.  Personal data will only be collected, processed and maintained for the Intended Purpose and in accordance with your employer’s and Altair Global’s Privacy Statement http://www.altairglobal.com/privacy-statement/ and record retention requirements http://www.altairglobal.com/record-retention-policy/.    

Although information exchanges between your employer and Altair Global are encrypted, transfers of data by unsecured means (such as email) may occur.

Altair Global is authorized to process my personal data (including sharing with the abovementioned third-party Sub-Processors) solely for the Intended Purpose.  This consent is valid until revoked by me, in writing.  

I understand and accept my rights and I consent to the transfer of such personal data to territories outside of the EU that have not been recognized by the EU commission as maintaining adequate data protection standards, provided that Altair maintains an adequate level of data protection in its agreements with the relevant Sub-Processors.
